0ut0f.space Privacy Policy and Conditions of Use

Summary

Introduction

The 0ut0f.space project is an ecosystem based on open-source services and solutions. Our mission is to create a privacy-focused alternative to the ecosystems of multinational corporations.

The ecosystem is built on several fully independent services. Each of them has its own list of data that is collected and stored on the servers. This policy explains what data is generally collected, stored, and used to maintain the ecosystem.

Our goal is to keep the list of data types that are collected, stored, and used to maintain the ecosystem as short as possible.

The services are provided on an “as-is” basis.

If you believe any part of this document does not align with 0ut0f.space’s mission or values, please raise it via email.

Privacy Policy

General Principles

The ecosystem is built on several fully independent open-source services. Links to their source code are provided in attachments to this document. We strive not to modify the source code, so it remains compatible with the mainstream. Any changes made to the source code will be announced.

We aim to collect, store, and use as little data as possible for operational purposes. For some services, like Piped, we disable all kinds of logs entirely because this does not affect the operation of the services.

On the other hand, some services, such as the Matrix server, email server, etc., require data collection to function properly. Detailed information about what data is collected, how it is stored, and where it is stored on our servers is provided for each service individually.

We do not take responsibility for any data collected, stored, or used on your device or by third-party servers, clients, web browsers, payment methods, etc.

You have full control over your data. You may request us to delete all data associated with you, as long as the deletion does not affect the stability of the infrastructure. Data that cannot be associated with you or anyone else may be deleted automatically after a certain period. You, and only you, may decide which service to use and which not to use.
